Pat has been part of the Event Floral team since 2014, bringing an inviting, positive attitude everywhere she goes! As a teacher for multiple decades and recently retired, her systematic processing, organization, and love for math and order couple wonderfully with her social nature and care for others. She often works at the front desk as receptionist and bookkeeper, and she also lends extra helping hands for event deliveries and set ups during busy times.
If flowers had personalities, Pat would be a carnation—classic, dependable, and full of heart. She enjoys working in a quiet environment where thoughtfulness can flourish and finds inspiration outdoors, often relaxing with a walk or hike after a long day. Pat counts tulips as her all-time favorite flower with spring as her favorite season for blooms. Pat loves seeing all the parts of a wedding or event come together on setup day, transforming individual elements into one cohesive, beautiful design. She’s especially inspired by the endless emotion that can be expressed through floral design by the combination of colors, textures, and layered details.
When she’s not at the shop, Pat is spending time with her family, especially her husband and her numerous children and grandchildren. Pat has been to all 50 states and dreams of visiting all the National Parks, and also hopes to travel to France with her eldest daughter, Erin (yep, the owner), one day.
