Nikki as manager keeps the studio running seamlessly. Her balance of organization, planning, and orchestrating all the moving pieces that come with orders and events is the perfect complement to the design inspired side of the business. She is the backbone to all the inner workings of Event Floral! With a background in graphic design and a degree in Graphic Arts, she has a strong foundation in art and visual principles and an eye for spotting and bringing to life new and upcoming trends and concepts.
Nikki’s love for bold, textural florals lends a particular fondness for blooms in the protea family, with coxcomb and celosia as close runners-up. Statement-making flowers and rich textures are very much her thing, and her trained design perspective allows her to see how every detail contributes to the overall aesthetic.
Outside of the shop, Nikki is usually at the gym lifting weights, spending time with her family, or chasing her next adventure! On event setup days, she loves watching a blank space transform into something magical in just a few short hours — but especially enjoys the flurry of activity that ensues within those few hours. She thrives in the dynamic rhythm of installation day, moving with intention and guiding our team, navigating each shifting detail until every element settles into place.
